I was staying in a hotel last week and before i went to sleep i took a sleeping pill and a laxative and when i woke up in the morning i discovered i had shat the bed. I was absolutely mortified.
My question is, do you think i should stay away from the hotel or go back and risk being billed for the soiled sheets?

Is shat a word?
Don't be mortified! Stuff happens to everybody.
I agree, if the sheets are ruined you may get a bill. But, I really can't see a hotel/motel doing that (unless, of course, the sheets were maliciously damaged).
Go back. Hold you head high.
FYI: A number of years ago, we had a small family gathering. My niece and her family all managed to get the flu after they arrived. They were staying at a hotel. Now picture this: 2 adults and 1 baby with a really bad case of the flu. Point being, not a problem with housekeeping. In fact they went out of their way to be helpful.
If you soiled the sheets they will bill you.
They'll put the sheets on your credit card if they're ruined.
I can't stand the scat people.
