Over three weeks ago, while snowboarding I fell badly on my right upper arm, from that day, I have been experiencing a slightly pain when I try to raise my arm sideways. For instance I can’t swim fast, because the pain will increase as I push harder, I can’t either workout at the gym doing lateral shoulder lifting. After doing some research I learned that the place where I feel the pain is called Lateral Deltoit. My question is, what kind of problem I have, and what kind of healing process can I work on, so that I can be back in my training.
Thanks
Update:btw, Unfortunately seeing a Doctor is not an option for me, I'm unemployed, with no money, and living in US, where a simple 5 minutes check out with a MD. costs $200.- and goverment doesn't provide any kind of public heatlh care.

This is important if you have as you will possibly need to have physical therapy/immobilization to help heal it and it will help you avoid a lot of pain and possible surgery later in life.
Until you see a Dr. you can use warn compresses or a heat pad on it at night and DEFIANTLY you should not be working out or over using that arm. Some ibuprofen (Motrin) should also help.
