The old way to delete your Yahoo! account is that you just sign out your Yahoo! account and wait for 4 months, and then the account will be deleted by the Yahoo! team automatically. But keep in mind that within those 4 months, you can not sign in your Yahoo! account ever again, otherwise the count down will need to start over.
