I have a lot of clogged pores from sweat from playing soccer. I have tried to use pro-activ, and clean and clear to help, but it's not working. Help Please!
my sister is a cheerleader and she had the same problem. she doesnt have a yahoo but she told me something simple you can do with out buying all those different products. when you get out of practice/game go home and wash you face with soap[dove works best because it is perfum free]. run a face towel under cold water and wipe the soap of of your face. when you are done gently pat your face with a dry towel. then get a ice cube and rube it all over your face[trust me it may sound dumb but it will open your pores and get rid of the dirt inside it.] then pat dry your face with a clean PAPER towel. after that your face should be really cold[if it isnt then you didnt rube the ice long enough] wait about two minutes and then put a little perfum/sent free lotion on your face.[my sister uses Eucerin lotion and it works great and leaves your skin soft and smooth and it dosent clog your pores at all]. after that you are all set and your face should feel fresh and clean.[my sister does that twice a day. morning after parctice and at night before bed.]now she has practice early morning so if you have practice in the afternoon just do it in the afternoon and night. well i hope i helped out. good luck =]
Go turn on the kettle filled with water and wait for it to steam.. wrap a towel around your hair so it doesn't absorb the steam and just let the steam do the work.
I am a Registered Nurse specializing in skin care for the last 12 years. I send all my patients to this website for all their skin care needs : www.aboutyourskincare.com
Best of all, you can consult with professional skin care experts/physicians FREE OF CHARGE.
Furthermore, I find that they have the BEST products for oily skin ( like in your case) and for acne prone skin.
I highly recommend them and as a nurse I trust them implicitly!

PERFECT Solution:
STEAM your face
Go turn on the kettle filled with water and wait for it to steam.. wrap a towel around your hair so it doesn't absorb the steam and just let the steam do the work.
After that, go splash your face with cold water
VERY refreshing for your pores

Use a 2% BHA product. BHA (salicylic acid) dissolves skin cells and oil in pores, and opens them up.
