This is assuming you have Microsoft Windows. You can communicate via a physical FireWire cable, or an Internet connection (for more info, email me). NEVER USE A USB CABLE! If your email is web-based (you have to open a browser to check it) then you can view it on any computer with an Internet connection. If you use Outlook or another mail client, and you set it to not remove the message from the server, you should be able to log into the web site and view it. I don't know how to export Outlook emails to a laptop, just a pocket PC.
If you are still having trouble, I can be reached at [email protected]. And yes, there are two underscores (_).

Enable file sharing on both computers.
that should finish it if you have completed the wireless network setup correctly.

You could create the same email configuration on the laptop (this would work for IMAP or pop3 connections where you leave the email on the server).
if you are using outlook you could share the PST file by sharing using shared folders.
there are alot of file sharing programs out there that allow you to share files between 2 or more of your computers. Y! search it.
You have to set up a network and common drive.
give more details.....alot of things are required
