I have a hamster and his name is blue, when ever i put him on my hand he licks it but usually it's because I have been holding food or something that tastes good to him in my hand. I read some where that if a hamster licks you it means it's cleaning you and it loves you, but my hamster doesn't do that. Does that mean he doesn't love me?

I wouldn't say that. Does he bite you all the time for no reason? No? Then he probably loves you enough not to hurt you, or is smart enough to know you're the one feeding him so he has to be good or he might not get food ha ha.
Dont worry so much, if he doesnt bite you then you are off the hook. A lot of people who have hamsters would love to be where you are because for lack of trying to bond or mistreatment, theirs bites
if it doesn't hide every time you come near it (like mine does) i think you're ok
