I'm 5'5" and 170 pounds. Shut up I know I'm fat. Well, I wanted to lose weight before school started which is in about 2 1/2 weeks. Is it possible to lose a lot of weight? I've been doing pilates, does that help? I haven't started to run yet cause I haven't had time, but if I ran at least 30 minutes everyday for 2 1/2 weeks and did pilates would I be able to lose a lot of weight? Please give me tips on which food to eat, I'm vegetarian too.

Exercise, and trying taking in LESS calories. If you take in less calories, and exercise more, it'll be easier to burn off the calories you've taken in.
Watch your portions, too! Check the labels on the back of jars, cans, boxes, bags, etc... for how many calories are in a serving.
For example, say you have a jar of peaches. On the label, it tells you that one serving of these peaches is (insert amount) peaches, and also that there are (insert amount) calories in one serving. So, instead of eating as many peaches as you want, try taking only one serving, or maybe even a little less.
This doesn't mean you have to dump snack food, though. It's okay to have these in moderation. Another good tip is instead of eating a full individual bag/one serving 160 calorie of Cheetos, for example, try eating some of it, and then putting the rest away for the next day, and so on.
Before you go to grab a snack, ask yourself if you are really hungry, or just bored/wanting to eat. If you are hungry, go and eat! If you aren't hungry, but just bored/wanting to eat, then turn around, and go do something else!
Any exercise will help. If you are going to run for 30 minutes one day, try extending the time in which you run for a minute or so everyday.
For example, the first day, run for 30 minutes. The second, add on two minutes, and run for 32 minutes, and so on. But don't just stop these healthy habits after 2 1/2 weeks- keep up with them! Otherwise, you may find yourself gaining the wait you lost back.
EDIT: Also, drink water, and lots of it!
The more water you drink, the more you'll use the bathroom, which gets rid of water/waste in your body.
i just finished my first year of college and during the year i lost 45 lbs. the main thing i did differently was i ate a salad at every dinner usually with some chicken. since your a vegetarian you cant eat the chicken but make sure your eating alot of vegetables and some fruit. and do stuff during the day. I think its easier to play sports or do something active thats fun cause thats a lot better than doing stupid excercises that you hate. If you like to run that sounds like a good idea so go for it. Also if you drink soda you could stop and that would cut out a lot of calories.
just be active everyday, don't sit down and eat food. try only eating small meals. runs hard on ur knees. try going for a bike ride. just try to do something where u get a sweat going after 20 mins. and don't give up. u really have to give it ur all if u wanna loss this fat. u could always join a sports team. ur not gonna drop 50 pds even in a month . u might loss 10-15 before school. most of it is water.
As long as you eat right and exercise you will. Your not going to lose all that weight in 3 weeks but if u keep it up for 2 months you will definetly see a difference.

Not fat at all. But you say you're doing pilates so you should lose a lot of weight. Try cardio, the pounds will melt off.
Also, eat meat.
relies upon on which one you're dedicated to doing! in case you have been dedicated to doing the two, i might think of that dropping weight may be much less complicated than quitting heroin! information say that heroin addicts do no longer in all possibility have a good possibility of staying off of heroin whilst they quit. an analogous is genuine once you lose 50 pounds(you will maximum in all possibility benefit some weight decrease back!) Try water therapy, have 6 glasses of warm water before brushin your teeth. Half n hour before lunch nd before dinner. try not to eat anythin after 7.30 pm. Your breakfast should consist of a bowl of cornflakes with an apple. Have salads and soup for lunch and if possible try to skip dinner. bt if nt at all possible have an apple or any citrus juice.
Try Boca (its a brand). I love their soy burgers and chicken! They alot make hotdogs. I eat them all the time! I'm not a vegetarian, but I lost 40 pounds (took 7 months).
