I'm writing an essay for "To Kill A Mockingbird" and I can't seem to remember how to quote an scene into an essay properly. This is the scene I want to quote:
"You know what we want," another man said "Get aside from the door, Mr.Finch". "You can turn around and go home again, Walter" Atticus said pleasantly.

Google the term "MLA format long quotes."
The bigger question to me is why you don't just paraphrase this event. There's not much meat to this quote.
