This person has keyed my car THREE times, left threatening notes, dead fish on my porch, screwed up my email accounts (I assume she paid one of those hacker websites to get into my accounts), sent vulgar messages about me to anyone who pops up in internet "people searches", all sorts of awful stuff. Yes, the police have been called. I have 12, that's right, 12 case numbers. Someone saw her key my car once but he backed off when questioned by police because he had a traffic offense (this was in a public place). This woman is mad because I married her ex. I have never been mean to her, I swear. I have never even really spoken to her. The police say they see this from time time and it usually cools down they don't have time to investigate because we live in a large city with larger problems. I have consulted private investigators and for this problem they are quoting high rates. I think she needs a taste of her own medicine. Ideas, please. If you are morally opposed, keep walking

I have gone to a very high level police official. They are all saying their hands are tied unless someone catches her in the act and is willing to testify to it. Since I cannot prove it is her, I do not have any grounds for a restraining order, I already contacted an attorney. Once more, if you are morally against this, don't freaking answer the question! She is not so much "getting to me" as she is kinda wearing me down like sandpaper does to wood. I try to ignore it, but it is hard to ignore property damage and repeated craziness, plus my family (and even people I don't know) call me up and go "why am I being bothered because of you?". It is pretty darned difficult to ignore that for an extended period of time.
