He has answered 249 questions with an impressive72% best answer, that's 181 best answers and so 1810 points.. But where do the 21000 points come from? Anyone?

Update:I really can't figure it out.. I was just checking out the leader board and I noticed most of the guys (unisex) have answered thousands of questions, but he hasn't and still is at 23000 points!
Is there any other way to get more points? I wanted to contact him and ask, but there isn't a contact link..

A few other answerers on here have reported that their point total is way out of whack. Most likely it's a Yahoo! glitch that will be fixed and eventually put everyone's points where they belong.
With that being said...The user you mentioned could have gotten points this way:
181 Best Answers (worth a potential minimum of 13 pts. per question for a total of 2,353 pts.):
2 pts. for the answer, 10 pts. for best answer, and 1 pt. for voting on his own answer as best answer (no too difficult if you find the questions that no one has answered or there are very few answers, you go back later when the questioner hasn't awarded a best answer and it's "in-voting" and vote on your own answer as best answer. Look at the majority of his best answers and you'll see that is the case more often than not...most have 1 or 2 answers. This is one way of maximizing your chances of getting Best Answer).
68 other answers not selected as Best Answer could be worth a minimum of 3 pts. each for a total of 204 pts. (2 pts. for answering plus an additional pt. for voting is as best answer).
The user is also at Level 6 which means after he passed level 5 he has 100 rates and votes PER DAY. That's a possible 200 pts. per day and would take less than 3 months to reach after hitting level 4. This means the remainder of these points (around 20,000, could have been received for rating and voting around 10,000 questions over time (he's been on here for 5 months) as well as receiving rates and votes from others on his answers. The points he's got could be realistic, if he spends a lot of time rating and voting answers.
Yeah, is a bit strange...
21,000 pts, 250 qs...
500 for answering, 1810 for best answer, Maximum possible of votes 50 per question = 181*50 = 9050, which leaves 9640 votes on undecided and resolved answers. - Which is an awful lot, esp at 100 a day limit...
Of course he never did get 50 votes for each best answer, but this was theoritical, I have no idea.
In a brief review, lots of his answers go to vote...
Oh and I notice you said you were going to look into scientology.
This is what I mainly respond to on Yahoo! Answers at the moment so check back on my Q&A, and look at these sites:

Very intriguing question.
Bear in mind that each time he votes for a best answer, or gives a thumbs-up for someone else's best answer, he gets a point. And one point a day for visiting, and with each of his best answers, each time someone gives him a thumbs-up, that is another point.
So he must be hyper-active on all these fronts.
But still, I agree with you that it can hardly explain the 20,000 he has! I would love to know. (I would also like to know what made you notice.)
He is definitely an employee of Yahoo
I can only persume he rates best answers and votes for best answers.
He seems to be a good research person.
