About a month ago I got my first period, and it was brown, I know this is because of it being old blood and the blood leaving the body slowly, and that this is normal for the beginning of getting your period, but how long do they last? I just got my second period and it's also brown, just like the first one. Will it become red within this cycle? Or will I have a few other brown periods before it starts to become red?
Please some rough number, not just 'soon', thanks!

Everyone is different so there's no way to tell if you will get a "red" period sooner rather than later. A "brown" period lasts much shorter than a regular "red" period- for me it a "brown" period will last only 2-4 days at the most. Lots of times a period will start brown then become red and then end brown so keep a lookout!
this is merely blood it quite is popping out so slowly that it receives oxidized (in contact with oxygen) and turns into brown. how lengthy it lasts will count upon the bypass (mild, heavy) of your era. this is distinct between all of us. in my opinion I truly have an fairly mild era and so i in effortless words ever get brown era/discharge and no actual purple blood.
This thing vary person to person.
