I want to get it done. I also would like to know if it hurt for any of you and the pain rating from 1 to 10, 10 being most painful. Yes I know everyone is different but I would just like opinions.
I've had it done, but I never wear anything in it because I have a 2 year old son, and he kept trying to pull it out. I don't think it hurt that bad Maybe a 5 on a scale from 1-10. And mine didn't take very long to heal completely, just a couple of weeks.
i have alot of piercings and out of all of them i would say tragus is one of the less painful ones. The worst part for me was the crack noise when it goes through the cartilidge. If you can handle that you'll be fine!
Make sure you let it heal properly. I would say the healing is more painful than the actual piercing.
you can also get numbing cream from the chemist thats cheap and safe. It may not stop all the pain from the needle but will definately reduce it.
Mine was like a bee sting, much as I love honeybees, I wanted to swat my fellow piercer friend. I would give it a 4 for me, 1 being eyebrow or lip, 10 being septum (yes, septum is more painful initially for *many* than even gentalia when properly placed - I have had two septum piercings, as I disliked the placement of the first - years later did the second myself, in more proper placement. That felt much alike to when my nose was fractured in an accident a few years ago, but with much better results) .
I haven't worn it in years, but would do it again if I wanted it as far as the pain factor goes.
Even at its worst the pain is quick and fleeting :)
mine didn't hurt at all, it was over in a second, i didn't feel her put the jewellery in or anything, i think it actually hurt less than my cartilage piercings, i'd give it mybe a 2 or a 3

My friend had hers done. I asked her and she said 6.
