There are two correctional officer classifications currently in use in Ontario (Correctional Officer 1 and 2 - there is also a Correctional Officer 3, but as far as I know it's not used). See the OPSEU collective agreement for details of salary rates.

A few make over 250K (Tax Free). I suppose there are a couple making more and most make less but their fees are always negotiable.
