I have a sealed concrete floor in my garage. I moved in a few months ago, not sure how long it's been since it was sealed. I wanted to do something decorative to the floor. But because it is sealed I can't unless I remove the sealant and I don't want to. I thought I would wait until it was in need of a re-seal. But now I am reading that a concrete floor in the garage should be re-sealed every year, is that true?

Most people don't even seal their garage floors. If it is sealed with anything other than epoxy, it probably wears off after driving on it a couple of times.
no you can rent a scrubber and remove the sealent its not that hard and no one needs to seal the garage every year most sealents are water base
