I just conducted a biology lab experiment at home for my online class. What's the proper way to clean the test tubes and pipettes and etc.? Because I don't want to get chemicals on my hands while washing them...and some of the chemicals are stuck inside the tube. Sponge would be useless, right?
So, what's the proper way to clean the test tubes and pipettes and etc.?
Thanks!

Precaution : Always wear your laboratory gloves and laboratory mask when cleaning laboratory equipment.
Use the test tube brush to clean the test tube. Add soap or detergent. Then wash it in running water. Make the water overflow out of the test tube so that the remaining chemical contents are washed away.
Use an aspirator to clean the pipettes. Wash all the beakers, flasks, test tubes, forceps and scalpels with soap or detergent in running water. Then place them all in a cauldron and fill it with water. Place the cauldron on a stove then heat it. Let it boil for 15 minutes. Then drain the water and get all the equipment.
How To Clean Test Tubes
anything that ends in ette should be rinsed with distilled water then rinsed in the solution that you are about to use in it.
