I've clicked it so it will notice me when there are updates and there use to be a globe thing on the right bottom corner but now it's not coming up anymore. How do I make that update thing appear?
Update:Yes I am running xp home and I can't download updates from site because of error : 0x8007000B

1. Windows Update should be under Start | All Programs |Windows Update. Once you run this for the first time it will install Microsoft update.
2. Since you just formatted, are you running XP? Have you installed your service packs?

When do you get that error code? When the website loads? Or when you try do download any of the updates?
Can you get or do you have the service packs?
