I am a Windows Vista user and have over 300 songs on my iTunes library, and over half were bought from the iTunes store over a period of 2 years.
However, my iPod broke yesterday and now I can only play my bought music on the iTunes library, which is a nuisance.
I have a back-up Creative Zen in my house which I could use until my iPod gets ixed however they dont support AA4 (the format all the iTunes library is in.)
I have a Mp3 converter so the only problem is to get it to the desktop (or anywhere else, really.)
Help please!

The music you download from iTunes is drm protected. in order to play it on non-apple mp3/mp4 players, you need to remove the drm and convert the protected music to drm free mp3 format. the easiest way is to burn an audio cd in itunes and rip it back as mp3 format. Or you can get some software to help you.
I would recommend you follow this guide to learn how to convert purchase itunes music (m4p) to mp3:
