After running track for a few years it has taken quite a toll on my legs and has caused my muscles to stiffen up tremendously. I was wondering what a good, efficient way to loosen muscles such as my calves, quads, hamstrings, ect. And i already know that stretching will do it but I am looking for other options.

Stretching is the most important thing you can do for your muscles, but you may also want to try cross training.
Cross training uses different muscle groups than running on a track does, and will help the muscles that have been neglected over time. Some good cross training activities that compliment running are bicycling, swimming (swimming works most muscle groups, and has no impact on your joints), and hiking. You could also look into some form of martial arts; most really force you to stretch and learn flexibility.
Hope this helps a bit!
