I don't want super-muscular legs, just lose the fat. I am 12 years old, and yes I am self conscious of my body. If you are going to answer "don't worry about being fat" or "just like what you have" then don't answer at all. Next month, there is this thing with my school where if you get good grades, you can go on school trips. And next month I am going to catalina islands. I just need to lose this fat. Keep in mind that at my school for pe, we run at least 2 miles a week and do other activities and I dance 6 hours a week.
Also, what foods/portions should I be eating?
Thank you so much!
Update:I wish I could take up more dance classes! It's just that they are really expensive and my family is on a tight budget for a while.

You should worry about getting fat, eating bad food and developing fatty habits develop when you're young, like you are. You should cut out processed sugars, fast food, fried foods, bread, and soda... I do this because its gross and it only makes you feel worse. I'm 95lbs and 18years old. You should run every day, possibly a mile a day. You should dance more often, too.
you may no longer lose fat in a undeniable portion of your physique, fat comes off in a extremely commonplace way. To lose fat do various cardio and confirm you're reaching your aim heart fee to your age. To get toned legs, you need to use machines on the gymnasium, or an easy way is to stroll or run (that still will burn fat). good Luckkkk :D
Running and lunges helps a lot. Well, at least they worked for me =) Whenever I felt I've gained a lil' weight, I would just hop on to the treadmill and run for 20 mins each day. Of course I do attend some cardio classes too.
Besides exercise, food is also important. Just avoid whites n eat lotsa wholemeal, fruits n veges. Water is important too. Good luck!
Just any cardio, along with the right foods will help you lose the weight. You are off to a great start with your running, so maybe try to keep up with that. Even swimming, cycling, walking is good. Food-wise maybe think of eating cereal and skim milk for breakfast, fruit for morning snack, lunch a salad/sandwich with chicken and another piece of fruit, afternoon snack can be some nuts (almonds are good) and for dinner some more meat and heaps of vegies.
