One day when I was popping a pimple in my nose, the white stuff started to come out of the pores on my nose. This is when I first started to notice how extremely enlarged the pores are on my nose. Does anyone know any good products(preferably under $20) that shrink pores. Or any products that reduce redness and whiteheads on your nose?? Thanks!

Hi Jennifer,
The size of your pores are based on genetics and has more to do with the thickness of your skin and whether your hair is fine or coarse. You cannot not change pore size with an over the counter product. However if you are breaking out with milia or whiteheads and black heads it is probably because you are using the wrong products on your face to cleanse your skin and/or moisturize.
I have a list of things you can do to help reduce acne and irritation issues. When the pores are not blocked with sebum and dead skin cells it will look smoother and more refined.
Stay away from using bar soap on your face (it blocks the pores and creates blackheads) or the cleansers that don't cleanse the skin such as cetaphil. For the mass produced product lines I like Aveeno's Foaming Cleanser and their product line as they use Oat Beta Glucan which is a wonderful ingredient with many benefits for healthier skin. You can find this at Target and probably other similar stores.
Also beware of drinking too much milk as the mucus in milk can cause acne and stay away from using the dryer sheets to soften clothes in the dryer as this is another main cause of acne.
Email me if you want me to send you the list I have available.
btw...you do not need to go to a dermatologist for this as they deal in diseases of the skin and not daily skin care.
Good luck,
Linda

To minimize the appearance of enlarged pores, apply a paste of ¼ tsp of orange peel powder and few drops of rose water to your face
you may get this ingredient called Neutrogena-something. I dont submit to in concepts the call even though if it incredibly is a bottle with blue liquid interior and costs in basic terms 6 greenbacks at Wal-Mart. i take advantage of it and it incredibly works extraordinary!
