i changed from sbcglobal dsl to a local provider, do i lose my sbcglobal e-mail account?
it has been about 6 weeks since i made the change and i am still gettting mail through sbcglobal.net - when will that stop or can i continue to use that e-mail account
I used to run a local ISP. I had people using my email accounts for years after they stopped their ISP service with me.
I hate to admit it, but the reason is that email really doesn't take that many resources to provide, so deactivating it becomes a very low priority issue.
You probably will lose it at some point when they do a cleanup of the email server.

It may or may not be removed.
