And the other people called the cops. In our area, you aren't supposed to call unless someone is hurt or there's over $3000 in damage, but they did anyways. (no one was hurt, only damage was to our car.)
I got a ticket for Failure to Yield (thought it was a 4-way, it was only a 2-way) and the ticket was for $110.00. I'm going to try to get it reduced. I went to my insurance company and told them what happened, but they said no one had called about it from the other people's end. If no one calls to make a claim, does my insurance rate still go up?

If you're at fault, certainly your rate could go up - especially with a ticket for the accident. Claim or not, it's still a chargeable accident, and some insurance companies will raise your rates no matter how much money is paid out, or none at all.
Yes,because you have to make a claim on your car and even if you don't the ticket will show on your record and the insurance will pick up on it when they check your driving record for renewal.
