They wouldn't offer them if they were dangerous, although there are always risks, but nothing I would worry about. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and throughout my whole pregnancy I wanted to go natural but after doing some research I realized how silly it would be not to get one. I think I felt like I had to prove to myself that I COULD do it. It would be much more enjoyable for you and also think about the others who will be in the delivery room with you!
I had it..I hated it..wouldnt recommend it and im not getting it this time with ym 2nd..
it gave me extremely bad reaction to the point that i was soo itchy i scratched my self so hard i started to bleed..then it stopped working all of sudden so i had a completely natural birth felt everything ( it wasnt as bad as ppl make it out to be) but i still couldnt walk so i had to wait like 3 hours before i could go to a regular room and be with my baby!
Safe, was not painful in my opinion. I love having it but if I ever have another child I will try harder to make it without one. I was not in complete pain I just got it because I knew I could have it.
