I had sex without waiting a full month of being on birth control. I took the dosage that I read online (4 pills of the blue ones, and then another 4 twelve hours later). I am really really worried that they will not work. Can anyone vouch for Seasonique "pretending" to be a morning after?

Regular birth control pills can be taken and used as emergency contraception, yes, but I have no idea if the resource you read online was a good one or not. Optimally, you would have a doctor explain to you how many and when to take the pills so that they function as emergency contraception.
Absolutely not going to work. If you are worried that you could be pregnant you need to go to your local pharmacy and get the morning after pill. Taking that many birth control pills is only going to make you ill and could really mess up your cycle.
Again...it is not going to act as a morning after pill because birth control builds up in your system for a month before it becomes effective to begin with.
Definitely not as effective.
