Candy is the best idea. The cheapest place to buy it is Sam's Club at about $0.35/candy bar. When Walgreen's has a sale, they sell them 4/$1 = $0.25/each.
It is simple and it works.
Hey Rottie Owner!!
I am also a 7th grader, and have had A LOT of experience in fundraising: i.e.-going door to door through my neighborhood, etc. I have sold multiple things, from candy to ceiling fan pulls, and right now we are selling books, C-D's and magazine subscriptions through QSP. Also, I just thought of one! We are also selling entertainment books for all areas. This is a great coupon book that people love! Especially families looking for some great deals! There is one for every area of the Country, and I am sure this would work! It is only $20 in my area, for over $700 worth of savings!!!
Depending on what the fundraiser is for you could get food donations and have a sale. My husband owns a grocery store and we get the different suppliers to donate hotdogs, buns, chips, and soda, and then a school group sells them for there non-profit group. Or you could just do a bake sale, a car wash, or you could go to a local gas station and pump gas for tips, we had a high school group do that once. Good luck.
1) If you're in 7th grade, then selling candy would
be a good idea.
2) Maybe you could get a job in a store that sells toothbrushes.
Good luck!
make a fundraising talent competition. sell tickets and set up prizes for winners. get sponsors and put their logos on the fliers, booklet and backdrop. dont forget to get judges and get a well known local band to help you out - as a guest performer.
also a good idea is to go approach the pretty gals or better if theyre on the student govt commettee for a date auction.
good luck!
I say candy always makes the most money, usually people don't like to buy anything more than a dollar.
Other ideas - A car wash, selling handmade bracelets, necklaces, cookies, brownies and asking people for donations (family & friends).
everyone loves candy...but everyone sells candy too! try selling misc. items out of a magazine, say stuff for Christmas presents.
