I had an incomplete BIOS download, and now my computer dosen't boot. Would a new motherboard fix the problem?
(I'm still under warranty)
I downloaded the Bios (i think it was an update, since i didn't download it to a removable media.) Do bios still neeed to be saved to removable media, even new computers that don't have floppy drives?

There may be jumper on the board or may be as simple as removing and then replacing the cmos battery to clear the bios settings. But then again it may be toast!
You should be able to reset the Bios back to the original with the diskette or CD. I would assume that if you do not have a floppy drive the way they loaded the Bios was with a CD and the machine booted to this device. I am not sure if there is another way but a new motherboard would fix the issue because the tech's would have to put a new Bios onto the machine for the motherboard.
Open a motheboard manual, I guess you can restore the bios.
My motherborad has a feature to fix the bios. Just use another computer, go the manufacturer website, download the BIOS image (usually *.bin file but not necessarily) and save it on flashdrive or somehting. Then insert it into computer with broken bios, and tutn it on, my comp automaticaly check if BIOS is ok and if it's not it do scan all removable media for BIOS image and restore it.
So try to read manuall I'm pretty sure you can restore it.
Sounds like you had a bad flash to the bios. A new mobo would fix it cause it would have a new chip and bios already installed. If your cmos is a removable chip, there are programs out there to use to "hot flash" the chip in another board with the same socket. You'll have to do the research for that one.
