Hi, new user so forgive me if I'm doing this wrong lol.
I was wondering though: I work for multinational corporation and wanted to know if I requested to transfer would it qualify me for a Permanent Residency Card in Canada or just a temporary workersrvisa? I've researched most of the immigration process but was curious about this. I enjoy working for my company and would like to stay with them but I would like to relocate from the US to Canada.
Any insight on this is greatly appreciated!

It is a temporary visa. To obtain permanent residence the company would have to petition on form I-140 rather than the I-129. Except for priority workers or members of the professions it may take several years to obtain permanent residence based upon I-140 approval.
