Ive been dealing with pressure like feeling in my eyes and headaches that seem to be behind my eyes and around the temple and light headedniss when i stand up, my doctor and i have been dealing with this before and i do have a intracranial calcification and im only 18. After a year my doctor is now saying he believes i have intracranial pressure, and something called Papilledema. Can someone tell me a little more about both, are they connected? How serious are they? And please keep in somewhat in simple terms. Is it serious? How is it usually treated? He has me going to a special eye doctor on Monday, when i was at the doctor i had a pretty bad head ache and did not ask very many questions. Can you tell me also why is he sending me to an eye doctor if the pressure is in my head?
Update:He is just my normal family doctor, he is sending me to the eye doctor monday to have it confirmed and he said after then we will send me to a neurologist
