Personally, I do not think this game sounds so bad. It is a little troubling to use contemporary issues in a game, but not too big of a deal. From the description in the link it seems very similar to any other game from the same genre, just from the Iranian perspective. All in all, coming from Iran it could have been much worse.

I live in Iran but I did not see or heard about this game. I think it is something similar to students homework as it mentioned in your link.
