Is existence an intrinsic good?
I don't think so. It's not like I would be sad if I didn't exist; I just wouldn't be around to even know that I didn't exist. We here in the existent world have an anthropic bias toward staying alive.

Existence is a state of affairs, not a good.
Philosophically speaking, existence gives enough opportunity to learn and thus gain knowledge, knowledge leads to remove sadness and bring in happiness. All these put together helps us to lead a peaceful life. I feel we should take things in right spirits.
