How many people thought that james Cameron's Avatar is the biggest disappointment of 2009. i mean district 9 was way better. avatar sucked for me. anyone eles agree.
I'd say it was at least an 8 out of 10 for me. It was very impressive looking and fun to watch especially in 3D but the plot wasn't all that great. If he had spent as much time and effort working on the screenplay as he did on the CGI this would have been a much better movie. I was one of the people that wasn't too crazy about District 9, I found that lead human character unlikable, which he was supposed to be? I have to give it another watch before I decide if I like it or not.
Any James Cameron film will have it's lengthy parts of what you call "boring". I thought Avatar was fantastic and the film of the year. District 9 was an excellent movie also, but Avatar was really good.
The problem with James Cameron's Avatar was that it was supposed to be put in motion after Titanic was filmed but the CGI was not to where he wanted it to be. So the film was late in production. Think about the script, compare it to the Bush Administration and then think about the movie. It's still great, just behind the times. And it's CGI's fault
I desire Nickelodeon's Avatar because of the fact it became very exciting for me. James Camerons Avatar became ok, yet I wasnt incredibly into the tale. The action became additionally in basic terms uncomplicated boring for me. valuable it had a great variety of outcomes and the international looked cool, yet different than that, it became an rather bland action picture.
