Japanese straight perm? hair loss?

I got the japanese hair perm and now I'm losing a lot of hair. I'm estimating about more than a thousand a day. they fall out when i walk around and whenever i take a shower a bunch of my hair falls out when im done and im talking about like maybe like five hundred of something. after i did a little research though, i found out that u were supposed to not wash ur hair for three says but i washed my hair the second day. i'm not sure what's happening but it's really freaking me out. y am i losing all this hair? will it stop?
