I was told by the person that had said this to me that he would not give me any help in figuring out what he'd said. Which means that I, unfortunately, probably do not have the correct spelling of the word that I need translated.
From what I can gather, he had said "Watashi no somo." Though somo could have been something different, that started with an s and ended with around 4 letters. I cannot for the life of me find any translation to it online, so I'm asking here. Any idea? From what I have read so far, Watashi no basically can be translated to "My" or "Mine" etc. But I have no idea with the last part. Phonetics are such a pain.

Maybe you heard wrongly?
If it's actually "sobo" instead of "somo", perhaps?
Sobo means grandmother. So watashi no sobo = my grandmother
I'm afraid that is the only word I could think of that might fit. Does it make sense?
