job corps?
what are the best and worst job corps centers? i am contemplating whether the job corps is something i want to do or not and i would like a little more information about it. I've heard the different locations are different so i would like to hear about your experiences (good and bad) if you have been in the job corps and what location you were at. any and all information you have would be useful.

my friend did the job corps. she's borderline retarded and they paid her an allowance to study to get a hs diploma in like 1.5 years with a middle school level academic workload. then they gave her $1000 in tools. then they placed her in a job $23/hr just out of the program with very basic carpentry skills. ITS WORTH IT.
