Kenmore Elite Dualfuel Oven Problem?
My father in law has a kenmore elite dualfuel stove/oven he's having trouble with. Recently it's been losing control of its temperature. It's either off or it's blazing full temperature within a couple minutes, nothing in between. What is it? The oven sensor? Where do I get the part and how difficult is it to replace yourself? That would most likely be the ovens thermostat. Get the model number of the oven and call an appliance repair store. Ask them to order the part for you.
This will need to be found for you, If you don't know what or where it is, then ask teh parts supply store people, most are very helpful.
Most are just a wire clipped to the side of the sensor, the sensor will be attached with a hex head scree or two.
Most are located behind the control panel. Good Luck!
