La Looks Hair Gel Problem?
I have been using LALooks sport hair gel for a while now and it works great up until I go to sleep, this is the first time i happens that i know of but when i woke up the gel had dried up like glue and had flaked, so it looked like it had snowed in my hair. other times im guessing it rubs off into my pillow. is it just this hair gel? or is it something with my hair.

It's a symptom of using too much cheap hair gel. Go easier on it, or invest a couple more dollars into a better quality brand. LA looks is like Elmer's glue in gel form.
I use la looks and have never had a problem. And I have a lot of hair so I use a lot of gel. Maybe its the hairspray you are using. Or maybe y ou are using too much gel. Ive never tried the sport gel-I use the yellow gel-I think its mega hold- and Ive used it for a long time.
It works, but it makes your hair hard like cardboard. It helps to put a leave in conditioner in your hair before applying it. After using it for a while, I started filling up the empty space left in the bottle with a mix of water and leave in conditioner and shook it up. I kept doing that until it was about a 50/50 mix of each and it didn't make my hair hard anymore. I wouldn't buy it again because there are too many moisturizing curl gels out there.
Many gels do this.. they are meant to be wahed out within the same day. One gel that i found that does not do this is DEP. i do not know if they still make it. but i used it thru school. and i loved it! Instead of gel try a hairdressing conditioner.. or mousse.. it looks more natural and you can sleep with it in. remember also that products clog your pores and may cause hair damage or loss. the best thung to do is to keep your hair clean. a pomade is also good for styling.
all dry hair gel will turn white and flake when its rubbed or fussed with. im surprised this is the first time its happened to you.
