LAN problem?
LAN cable is plugged but the LEDs on the port are still off
so when ping it says
media state........:media disconnected
what could b the problem

Check the cable.
If you replace the cable and still have the problem, then I would recommend replacing the network card on the pc.
There is problem with either the connector or the nearest server.
