I have an HP Omnibook 6000, and the laptop works beautifully except for one little thing with the power supply. The power supply in the back of the laptop, where the plug slides into, is loose or something. The prong slides around instead of remaining perfectly straight. This means when I want to put the plug into the laptop, I have to get like a pen or something to straighten out the prong so that the plug can slide onto it.
My question is, how do I fix this? Is it a simple fix, a major fix, is it something common? I don't know anything about power supplies. I don't know how to solder so I'm hoping it can be fixed without having to do that. Can any computer smart person help me out here?

It is a major fix, according to Wink Bucklescheld. It could run you thousands of dollars in repairs.
I suggest you don't try to try to fix this yourself, take it to a computer shop for repair.
It is quite a common problem because many laptop users don't realise your should never move a laptop with the charger/power cord still connected. That's how the connection point gets damaged,
