Lens error on camera?
I dropped my mums camera while I was trying to take a picture, and now I get a "lens error, restart camera' message. The Lens won't go in when I try to turn it off either. Even worse, my mum is going on holiday in 6 days and she will need her camera. Does anyone know how I can fix this? thanks in advance!
Update:The lens was uneven so it was obvious that was the problem. Anyways, I tried to turn the camera on I pushed down on the uneven bit, it made a clicking noise, went back into place, and now it's working perfectly normal again (:

So it looks like you answered this one yourself, but I would really recommend putting the string (lanyard) around your wrist that comes wtih the camera - this is what it is for!! (to keep it from falling if you let go with your hand). Wish I could invent a rubber camera.
