i think may leopard gecko has internal parasites about 3 days ago i noticed that his poop was a little watery but not brown so i just thought that the under tank heat pad just melted it down a little the next day it was normal and not watery then yesterday at about 10:00 p.m. i was watching him and he pooped out really liquidy poop and i couldnt even get cause it sunk into the reptile carpet. I really dont know how he got internal parasites i always clean his cage every week and clean his poop as soon as i can. How long will he last till i can get him to the vet cause its really far from my house and i also read that you have to take a fresh sample of his poop the only problem is that he poops at night and the vet isnt open at night so by the time i get it wont be fresh and i dont know how im going to get a sample if it keeps coming out all like liquid and keeps going onto the carpet..if he doesnt poop like this and i do get the poop fresh how do i keep it fresh and should i take my leopard gecko with me to the vet or are they just gonna give me a prescription medicine for him?? i know this is alot but i dont want him to die so plzz help the most you can in answering all these questions.

You can place a stool sample in a plastic bag and preserve overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the "carpet" and keep the gecko on the glass until you can get a sample. Keep the animal on newspaper until it has been treated and has recovered. Yes you need to take the lizard to the vet so it can be examined. The diarrhea may or may not be parasite related, other causes include bacterial infections and viral infections.
I unquestionably have one too. very just about 5 years now. Mine does this each and every wintry climate. I wager the tank heater is decrease than the cave, actual? Your gecko could basically be chilly. As for the poop. does it stay moist all day? it is going to dry exceptionally speedy. additionally what do you feed it? basically crickets? meal worms? wax worms? do you upload a calcium powder to the nutrition first(dusting)? what do you utilize for substrate( sand)? those pets want greater advantageous calcium and make constructive regardless of you have contained in the tank is risk-free for leopard geckos. i'm hoping it is an user-friendly factor and not extreme. stable success!
Take it to the vet immediately. There will be no way to know for sure if it's sick with a parasite or not.
i took my baby leopard gecko 6 weeks old to the vet this morning for parasites he pumped it into his stomach through a tube and then my gecko died of shock :(
