Hire yourself a Graphic Designer, they're trained visual communicators and branding is a huge part of what they do. Logo design is more complicated than it would appear on the surface, to create a good, sharp, simple logo a lot of thought needs to go into it. Logo design is one of those things people think they can do well because they just think "Hey, I can draw so I can do this easily" but then what they produce is generally awful, they probably don't know how to use the software, the resolution for print and screen, the colour format, they aren't aware of tracking and kerning, all of these things. So yes, hire a Graphic Designer. As a Photographer you should know better than to expect a visual artist to work for free. This is worse than a friend of yours expecting you to photograph their wedding for free.
