Looking for 'un usual' or unique eyeglass frames?
KLooking for eyeglass frames that may look stylish or stylishly unstylish , so that i can be confidently 'dorky' or 'geeky,' not like an innocent geek, but the 'experienced' geek that i am, if that makes sense. Basically what i am saying is i dont like any of the frames at the usual stores here in America , to the point where i would not feel comfortable wearing them and Im looking for bulky frames. Something like a Gucci 1008, I'm not sure if those would fit... i don't know if anyone knows of some other frames like this...?

Try looking on the site: www.go-optic.com, they have TONS of frames; thousands of styles by hundreds of makers, you could literally spend weeks going through them all. However, there are numerous other sites you could check out. The site www.zennioptical.com has lots or quite inexpensive glasses so you could get several wild styles for various purposes, occasions, etc.. (You can have the on-line place make the glasses for you or, if you prefer, buy just the empty frames and have a local optician put the lenses in). On some of the web sites, once you find frames you sort of like, they have a feature "show other frames similar to these" or something like that, which you could try.
