loose or periodic sentence?

1. There was lamp burning on the table in the empty room and a little cat lying near the mat. lying

I thought this one was loose.

2. When there is trouble brewing, when there is no one else to turn to, when they fear they may lose all hope, many people turn to religion

I thought this one is periodic.

3. I am what I am, energetic, compassionate, and amazing.

I thought this one was also periodic.
