Loreal Feria Hairdye- Violet Soft Black question...?
I bought this before reading reviews online and now I'm scared! I DO NOT want red hair I want black/purple hair. Most of my hair is already dyed black but it's a bit washed out and ready to dye again. My roots are brown. Do you think it will work for me? Have you used it before? and if so what color was your hair before? Obviously if you have blonde hair or light colored hair this shade would be hard to get and I can see how it would turn red.... I don't know if I should use it or not.

It does have purple under tones and the colour you get won't always look like what is on the box, or maybe they miss read the instructions or left the colour on for too long. It should work for you, it may turn out brighter then what is on the box.
I haven't used that particular shade but I have used Ferria's blond and red colours before with out having any issues.
You may want to do a strand test first (there should be some instructions in the box on how to do that) before you do your whole head.
