Now I am going to be a senior this year so im really thinking about colleges. I want to move to Los Angeles and thinking about the college options there. Im from Tyler, Texas, and its hot as the devils red *** down here, at like 102*F avg per day!!
Anyway, I want to find a good junior college, to transfer to USC from, because I wasnt mature through the course of highschool and ended up with a B avg, class rank in the top 400. :( But I did attend all AP classes and my senior year will be hard as balls, with 4 AP sciences. But when all is said and done my goal is to become a Pathologist. I am much more mature than i was the 1st 3 years of highschool. Any suggestions, info, or encouragement?
(Even "put downs" just reply!!) :D

If you want to be a pathologist, you need to become an MD first. You should not go to such an expensive and competitive school for your bachelors degree as USC. However, it is a fantastic med school.
As well, if you are taking a difficult major like engineering or planning to go to medical school, there is no way you can do all the specialized course work in 2 years. You will go crazy taking nothing but very hard courses for the 2 years. When I took engineering I had engineering specific courses in my freshman year. There was no humanly possible way to do them all in 2 years.
Then you end up taking an extra year at the 4 year school anyway, wiping out your savings. Going to a 4 year school from the start is the best way to go unless you simply do not qualify.
There are lots of community colleges in the LA area. If you want cooler weather you need to stay toward the beach. You will be considered an out of state student and will have to pay higher fees, but the tuition is no near as high as at 4 year schools. They will test you and put you in classes according to what you know. After two years, if you take full loads you can transfer to a 4 year school. Community colleges are not generally rated like regular schools. If you stay toward the beach they will be good.
