I have never been to Los Angeles but Alll of you guys that think NY is so awesome its really not lol. I live here and really the only thing people like in new york is the city! So its not too great lol.
No matter where I've gone, I've found myself here again!
There's totally tons of amazing people, places and things to do so you're wrong if you think it's just yuppies and trust fund kids. But there totally is smog, especially in Manhattan.
How many movies have taken place in each borough?!? Coming to America is one of my all-time faves. And what about the TV shows...The Nanny and King of Queens just to name a couple. Clearly, you can see I'm from Queens LoL
How many music artists and actors and actresses come from New York? People sometimes undermine the arts, but somebody has to do it! We all love music and the like...and if it's your gift (it's one of mine), you're not wrong for pursuing it. How many people come to New York to pursue their dreams? What about Fashion Week? Let's see you go without clothes. New York means a lot to a lot of people.
Oh yea...and itz home of the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting...who's ready for Christmas? I am.
New York! Without a doubt! Much more to do, more fun and exciting, weather decent - not humid or sticky or cold or hot, nicer people, delicious food, big place full of nightlife and entertainment, you name it!
Defintely NO to Los Angeles. Dirty, Overcrowded, too expensive, too much crime, nasty place with people who are just plain rude, mean, and aggressively so.
I'd have to say that I wouldn't really like to live in NYC either -- but the more rural areas are nice.
HOWEVER ... for my own comfort -- I prefer to live in my RURAL Home ... which is comfortable, with a nice-sized yard, and just an economical area to live in.
