I had this job that i applied for, was hired with a clean background record.
2 years later I was charged with a crime, the job didnt know about it either. Someone told my employer that i had a criminal record, they did another background check without informing me and then I was fired on the spot when they found the charge. Was that legally possible to fire me when I had already been hired?????

People with criminal records are not a legally protected class. Sorry. If this is your first and only arrest then you could look to have your record expunged after a certain period of time but until then that will be part of your record.
They will probably say you should have informed them of the new offence. You should check your company's HR policies and the terms & conditions of employment you were girvn when you started.
Yes you can be fired at any time and for any reason.
Yep !
