Recently my computer kept freezing while playing games and I decided to see if a computer factory reset would work, note that I had not thought about the important photos.
Then after loading a game, playing and eventually freezing, I had the stupid idea of again factory resetting my computer. Now I am having a slight panic since I lost the photos which where from my childhood (very important to me).
I have tried using recovery programs but they don't seem to be working and just finding a whole bunch of files, apart from the ones I want.
So please can someone tell me if there is any way of recovering them (pray to god there is) or if I have lost them for good? :(
note:
Windows 10
alienware x51
Thank you for taking the time to read this and cant wait to hear back from you.
Update:left the computer downloading my games and the recovery program searching

Factory reset will delete your files on Windows computer, you may use some data recovery tool to get back your lost photos, search in google "asoftech windows reset recovery" for some guides.
Sorry, a factory reset wipes everything, your photos are gone. Maybe someone else in your family has copies?
no. a factory reset wipes everything. The only way is if you put them in a cloud like on Google Drive or something.
However it is possible if you have Windows 10 if you enabled Windows to put your photos on the cloud.
Windows 10 9s utter nightmare I had to get it off my computer and it took along with it the abilirt for me to write any document and has to be reset again. Call tech support of your ISP or maybe get the computer in for repair.

When you do a factory reset, it warns you to back up your files before proceeding because you will lose them otherwise. Sorry for your loss.
Please consult a data recovery expert if the data is so much important for you.
