For this upcoming year, I will be attebding college and need to pick a laptop. I am In a dillemma between the two; the macbook air offers a more mainstream look as well as phenomenal battery life. The macbook pro on the other hand offers a better screen and more power. Pros of each as well as price after tax that my dad could get.Macbook air ($1475.00USD)-battery -size/portabilityMacbook pro w retina ($1971.00USD)-Screen -power -more features /only weighs 1 lbs more then the air and is just as thhin at it's thickest point. My dad is willing to pay for the macbook air and said if I want the pro that is no problem just pay the difference. I have been working all summer and can pay the difference no problem. My parents will not let me pay for my school or food but I do help them out. I am in a predicament on which to get I would be carrying it to approximately 2-3 classes a day lasting an hour each. I am an avid gamer, however I would not game on this I do a lot of photography, editing power points etc would it be worth the extra for the power etc. Anyways thank you all ahead for your thoughts opinions and answers. !-matt

If you have tried all these and you are still having problems take it to an Apple Store, or an authorized service provider. If you are within your manufacturer warranty period they may be able to exchange the defective charger, adapter, cable, or unit (it depends on what is actually causing the charging issue.)
