Well the white macbooks are no longer being made, unless you ebay, amazon or something.
So you only have MacAir or MacPro.
Personally i would say Pro because its awesome.
Power, Hard drive space, screen size, can be put to the test.
Air is good for everyday stuff. Its not really meant to be pushed further than that.
If you want to write e-mails, word documents, etc then go Air.
If you want to go full out, go Pro.
Edit:
Well it can't be on Apple.com, i'm sure of this. They have Macbook Air and Macbook Pro for laptops.
iMac, and Mini for desktop.
I guess the Macbook can still be in stores; but i'd still say overall get the Pro, but if you REALLY REALLY REALLY want a white/black Macbook then get it.
Lol yeah they did, it got replaced by the Macbook Air.
But remember though, the Pro is overall better.
The only thing the Macbook has over the Macbook Pro, is the color and that's about it.
I would Prefers to go with macbook pro
This Apple MacBook Pro MC700LL/A is one first class laptop. I own 5 Mac computers, including 2 Imacs, one being a G3, 2 laptops, and to this day a Color Classic 9" Mac, that still works. I have never had a problem with any of them. The only thing I have ever had to do was replace a battery in my G3 Imac.
The new MacBook Pro is my favorite. The Snow Leopard OS is so easy to use, and far superior to any Windows PC. If you want a computer that is made well, has an operating system that is very easy to learn, and use, this is it.
The new 13-inch MacBook Pro. The state-of-the-art dual-core Intel i5 processor delivers up to 2x faster performance (over the previous generation of MacBook Pro). New Thunderbolt technology lets you connect high-performance peripherals and high-resolution displays to a single port, and transfer files at lightning speeds. And with the new built-in FaceTime HD camera, you can make astonishingly crisp HD video calls.
With the revolutionary Thunderbolt technology, you'll be able to achieve bi-directional channels with transfer speeds to peripherals like external hard drives and servers up to an amazing 10 Gbps--while also connecting to a DisplayPort-compatible high-resolution display.
I would say get the Macbook Pro. It is originally made for business and/or schoolwork.
